Campers on Mission (COM) is a national fellowship of evangelical Christian campers who look for opportunities to share their faith and love of Jesus Christ through their participation in mission activities while camping. Two characteristics of COMers are a love of the great outdoors and a love of sharing Jesus. These Christian campers are active members of local churches and have taken the Great Commission seriously. While enjoying the camping experience, they participate in mission projects including church planting, construction, disaster relief recovery, Backyard Bible Clubs, fairs and festivals, campgrounds, auto racing, parades, and truck stops, engaging in opportunities to tell others about Jesus. COMers share Christ as we goon travels across the United States, assisting churches, church planters, and associations in a variety of mission projects to help reach the gospel of Christ. COMers are “on mission” Christians, sharing Christ through word and deed as we go.
You can also send your membership application to National Campers on Mission for other states you may wish to join.

Established in 1959, the Bambi Lake Retreat & Conference Center sets on 240 acres of property just outside the town of Roscommon, Michigan. The property has been developed and maintained over the years for one single purpose, to see lives transformed for Christ. Whether through a salvation at a youth camp, a re-dedication at an adult retreat, a teacher learning new ways to share the gospel, or a pastor simply getting a chance to take a break and reconnect with God. Since being established, the property has been and is still being used to further His kingdom.
Bambi Lake Retreat & Conference Center is a ministry of the Baptist State Convention of Michigan. We are supported by the events that we host and plan throughout the year. As well as gifts of Michigan Baptists through the attendance of our events, the Cooperative Program, and the Frances Brown State Missions Offering.
God has given us an incredible calling and a new "Road" to go out into the world to reach people for Christ: unbelievers, mature disciples, encourage pastors, leaders, and the Church. As such we been sent out of the four walls of the church building and have become missionaries. We are taking "Grace" (our 35-foot 2000 Damon Challenger Motor Home) and driving around the U.S. preaching, teaching, equipping, and encouraging the lost and God's Church while living the nomadic lifestyle.
We are Nomads for Jesus!!
